Truth Health Academy's, Home Health Aide program is designed to help our students understand what it takes to work alongside a team of health professionals which includes doctors, nurses, social workers, therapists, and specialists. Just imagine starting your career and thus gaining the knowledge and experience needed to become the best healthcare worker you can possibly become by starting as a Home Health Aide.
So... what is a Home Health Aide and their job responsibilities? A Home Health Aide is someone, who is responsible to care for someone who is no longer able to support themselves during day to day activities. These people may have suffered from having certain disabilities, impairments or age-related symptoms; who have the desire to live in their homes rather than a nursing home.
The job responsibilities of a Home Health Aide are quite simple. As a Home Health Aide, you will be able to: properly monitor your patient’s condition, being able to run errands, being able to assist your patient with feeding, dressing, bathing and even grooming.

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), students are trained to work in the home, assisted living or nursing home facilities. Upon successful completion of this Program students will receive a Diploma*. Students may begin working in their field of training as soon as their Diploma is received.
