It’s important to understand what it takes to become a CNA. You can choose to be a CNA or become a CNA. It’s actually a significant difference between the two.

Having a love for nursing is key when it comes to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. The idea, that as the professional, a certain level of professionalism can be reached, when it comes to caring for your patients.

So, the Next Step is to become a Certified Nursing Assistant…

What is a CNA?

A CNA is a Certified Nursing Assistant, in which job responsibilities vary based on the type of work you are assigned. Working in: hospitals, nursing homes, personal homes, adult care centers and even assisted living facilities, are some of the places that require a CNA. CNA’s are the assistant to LPNs and RNs, in which they send information to patients and nurses as requested.

Job Duties of a CNA?

  • Applying dressing and bandages
  • Transferring patients in and out of treatment rooms
  • Setting up medical equipment for use
  • Explaining medical information to patients
  • Adjusting or helping patients within beds. Etc.

The medical industry is always in demand of CNA’s, that being said it is fairly easy to find a job within the nursing field.
